His musical training began at the age of four\, a nd at the age of ten he made his stage debut with the Osaka Century Sympho ny Orchestra. At the age of twelve he made his debut at New York's Carnegi e Hall. In October 2007 he released his first album\, which had sold over 190\,000 copies by July 2009. In 2009\, Tsujii\, together with Haochen Zha ng\, was the first Asian winner of the legendary “Van Cliburn Internationa l Piano Competition”. During the 17-day elimination period he played\, amo ng other things\, Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 29 and in the final round C hopin's 1st Piano Concerto and two days later Rachmaninov's 2nd Piano Conc erto.\nTsuji also composes. After the Fukushima nuclear disaster in 2011\, he wrote the piano piece “Elegy for the Victims of the Tsunami of March 1 1\, 2011”. His performances of this piece have been viewed online by over 40 million people as of 2021.\n\nJiří Rožeň was born in Prague in 1991 and studied conducting at music colleges and universities in Prague\, Salzbur g\, Hamburg\, Zurich and Glasgow. He was successful in Salzburg and London as a finalist in the 'Nestlé and Salzburg Festival Young Conductors Award ' and the 'Donatella Flick LSO Conducting Competition'. A former assistant conductor of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra\, Jiří worked alongside Donald Runnicles and Thomas Dausgaard and assisted them at the BBC Proms a nd the Edinburgh International Festival. Well-known conductors such as Dan iele Gatti\, Bernard Haitink\, David Zinman and Peter Eötvös play an impor tant role in his development.\nRecent debuts include performances with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra\, the Slovak Philharmonic\, the BBC Symphony O rchestra\, the MDR Leipzig\, the Danish National Symphony Orchestra\, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra\, amon g others.\n\nIn the Zakhar Bron Chamber Orchestra\, founded in 2011\, Zakh ar Bron brings together international master students\, all aspiring soloi sts with promising perspectives\, to form a unique ensemble. The orchestra impresses with a musical quality and virtuosity that is almost unbeatable . An interplay of perfection\, dedication and passion. In 2015 the orchest ra made its debut in the Berlin Philharmonic\, the Cologne Philharmonic an d the Concertgebouw Amsterdam. The ensemble\, expanded into a symphony orc hestra for Interlaken Classics\, performed with famous artists such as Sab ine Meyer\, Alice Sara Ott\, Daniel Hope\, Natalia Gutman\, Konstantin Lif schitz and Mischa Maisky. A tour to mark Zakhar Bron's 70th birthday took the orchestra from Baden to Berlin\, Düsseldorf and Rotterdam in December 2017.
