DESCRIPTION:The Faces Collaboration | Strings\nString Ensemble\n\nProgram:
 \n\ntba\n\nConcert duration: approx. 1 hour 30 minutes\, including intermi
 ssion\n\nAdmission: CHF 50.-\, unreserved seating\n\nThe Faces collaborati
on | Strings is an international music project that unites musicians and c
omposers to develop contemporary concert formats at the intersection of cl
assical and new music. In this concert\, our string ensemble forms the cen
tral artistic force of the program. The ensemble interprets the world-reno
wned cycles 'The Four Seasons' by Vivaldi and Piazzolla in a new arrangeme
nt—entirely for strings\, with the addition of a guitar. The guitar plays
a special role: in Vivaldi's work\, it replaces the harpsichord part (bass
 o continuo)\, while in Piazzolla's music\, it adds a rhythmic and harmonic
pulse\, reminiscent of the sound of the bandoneon.\n\nThe project was fou
nded by Alik Lysiuk and Elizabeth Yakovenko. The musicians bring together
extensive international experience\, including collaborations with leading
composers\, artists\, and producers. These collaborations include partner
ships with Hans Zimmer\, Rusanda Panfili\, Florian Christl\, Maria Yaremak
\, Matthias G. Kendlinger\, Snow Owl\, and other leading figures in the co
