Zakhar Bron Festival Orchestra
Founded in 2011, the Zakhar Bron Chamber Orchestra brings together international master students, all promising young soloists, to form a unique ensemble. The orchestra impresses with its almost unsurpassed musical quality and virtuosity. A fusion of perfection, dedication, and passion. In 2015, the orchestra made its debuts at the Berlin Philharmonie, the Cologne Philharmonie, and the Concertgebouw Amsterdam. Expanded to a full symphony orchestra for Interlaken Classics, the ensemble performed with renowned artists such as Sabine Meyer, Alice Sara Ott, Daniel Hope, Natalia Gutman, Konstantin Lifschitz, and Mischa Maisky. A tour celebrating Zakhar Bron's 70th birthday took the orchestra from Baden to Berlin, Düsseldorf, and Rotterdam in December 2017. Many former students, including Maxim Vengerov, David Garrett, and Vadim Repin, appeared as soloists on this tour.
